Educator

In addition to my role as a scientist and adventure traveler, I'm a passionate educator that's worked with all age groups for the last 10 years. I decided to become an environmental educator after realizing how far removed my research felt from my community, coupled with the lack of diversity in my field. Now, I use all of my skills and experiences to introduce my community to the outdoors through facilitated programs and social media content that are inclusive, fun, and educational. For this work, I was named a 2021 NAAEE 30 under 30 environmental educator.
